HORIZONTAL DIRECTIONAL DRILLING (HDD)

This process of Directional Drilling is used for installing Water, Oil & Gas pipelines, telecommunication and power cable conduits, installations underwater channel crossings, roadways, shore approaches and environmentally sensitive areas and highly congested areas like under pipeline corridors. Also drilling under sand dunes for Aramco has successfully been done in Shaybah empty quarter.

  • We provide the detailed HDD design to make sure the client has a successful project completed within time using the correct equipment for all ground conditions.
  • Trenchless route assessment to plan and plot the bore profiles with method statements being provided with project planning and scheduling.
  • In house mud engineers assure that the project drilling mud design is followed to suit the ground conditions of each project. Note drilling mud is one the most important aspects to a successful directional drilling project.
  • Project Drilling Equipment and support equipment, we make sure the correct equipment is used to make sure the project is a success and completed in the time schedule.
  • Our strength is in the equipment we can make available from Drilling rigs from 50 ton to 500 ton with all support equipment like mud pumps and mud cleaning systems to the highest standard.
  • As you can see from the projects completed with the Maxi rigs using intersection technology, we can do crossing length up to 3600 meters in length.
  • The key management and drilling personnel are having 15-20 years’ experience in the directional drilling industry which is the key to success in directional drilling long crossings
