Project Description: Sinopec Project – PKG-17 (KM 132 DDS)
This project involved the execution of a Directional Drilling System (DDS) / Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) scope under Sinopec Project PKG-17 in Saudi Arabia, delivered for ARAMCO.
The scope of work included the installation of a 12-inch steel pipeline using HDD methodology over a drilling length of 150 meters, forming part of a larger 132-kilometer pipeline package. The HDD operation was carried out in soft ground conditions, requiring controlled drilling, bore stability management, and precise alignment to meet engineering and safety standards.
All activities were executed in strict compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, and environmental guidelines, ensuring seamless integration with the overall pipeline network. The project commenced in January 2023 and was completed in alignment with client and contractor expectations.

Installation Method: Pilot Drilling, Reaming, and Pipe Pull-Back
The installation was carried out through a sequential HDD process consisting of pilot hole drilling, progressive reaming to the required diameter, and final pipe pull-back.
